ZENON is a bi-racial, non-binary singer/songwriter forging a path with Soul. Their voice at that forefront packs power with masterful control and their their heart pens lyrics that paint a story, from their own struggles with mental health in 7 Deadly Sins to What It Was an ‘in your face’ song about social injustices and its impacts.

What It Was, captures those injustices so well, it wins them 2 awards and ZENON’s debut album GENRE Z got nominated in multiple categories at the 2023 YYC Music Awards and in the R&B/Soul category at Western Canadian Music Awards. This album is an expression of their journey with music and was instrumental in ZENON finding their passion with Soul.

Since 2022 they’ve performed 125+ live shows including 30 festivals such as SLED Island, Canmore Folk Fest Warm Up, Calgary Folk Fest Blockheater, Calgary Pride, Prince George Folk Fest Dak'et Shun Inli. They opened for Alex Cuba at a Road to the Juno’s event, shared the stage with Mattmac and warmed the audience for Allison Russell in 2023.

ZENON kicked off 2024 headlining with the talents of Amy Bishop in Alberta and Theo Tams in BC, is a winning artist with Queer Collective Out Loud and a collaborator on This Little Light with The Rainbow Collective.

Their most recent release Falling (Into You), is a risqué single with seductive French lyrics and next up is ZENON’s first official music video, a visually stunning portrayal of this song.

Armed with a BMus degree, large repertoire and live show charisma ZENON's trajectory is upward.
